This is one of the two locations of the University of London Centre for Transport Studies, a leading centre for research in transport engineering, operations, safety, planning and policy. Its work is at the forefront of transport research in Britain and is widely recognised internationally - with especially strong connections elsewhere in Europe, North and South America, and Pacific Rim countries. The Centre includes the ESRC Transport Studies Unit, the ESRC's designated research centre for the field of transport.
